Most of the people like to have it as an evening snack, especially children. many of the food restaurants welcomes  you with this Potato sticks recipe as French fries, but these are little bit expensive in those restaurants. So to overcome this we can prepare it in Home itself. Let us see how to do it.


ingredients to prepare Potato sticks recipe


  • Potatoes, as required
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chaat Masala to taste

method of making crispy potato sticks recipe


  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  2. cut into thin (about 1/8th inch ) thick. Stack the slices and cut again into thin much thinner than the fries longitudinal strips .
  3. Soak in water for 15 minutes.
  4. Drain and spread grills potatoes on a clean, dry cloth.
  5. Leave them a little dry to remove excess water.
  6. Heat oil in a wok for frying.
  7. Add a small batch of networks potatoes in hot oil and fry , stirring frequently so they do not stick together.
  8. Fry until turns to gold and becomes crisp.
  9. Lower the heat to low , remove the oil and drain on absorbent paper.
  10. Before frying the next , increase the heat to high lot .
  11. When all slices are fried , sprinkle with salt and chaat masala and mix gently to coat .
