Mutton Biryani recipe is one of the most delicious Indian Non veg rice recipe. Almost Every Non veg lovers like to eat it. I love Mutton Biryani. almost every weekend i love to eat Biryani. especially Hyderabai dum Mutton Biryani. onion salad, keera salad is the best combination for that.
ingredients to make Mutton Biryani
½ kg Mutton
½ kg sour curd
4 tomatoes (crushed)
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon dhania jeera powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon turmeric
finely chopped coriander and mint
Garam masala (in addition , five small illaichi )
½ kg onion
2 cups oil
½ kg of rice ( about 2 cups )
½ cup milk
Few strands of kesar
1 . Clean and wash the Mutton.
2 . Marinate in a mixture of crushed tomatoes , garlic , ginger, dhania jeera powder, red pepper , Haldi , kothmir , phudina , garam masala , curd and lemon.
3 . Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes cut into Pieces.
4 . Cut the onions and fry them. Then crush the fried onions to make a paste
5. In an oil add some onion paste then add mutton pieces mixture. Cook over low heat.
6 . Half cook the rice separately.
7 . Once the mutton pieces is cooked, add the rice on top and cook on low flame time ( dum ) .
8 . Mix kesar with milk and spread this mixture over the rice.
9 . Now, let the rice cook on low heat for 20 minutes with lid closed.
Garam masala ( black and white pepper , cloves , cinnamon, cumin seeds black and white, black , brown and green cardamom pods )
